Updates

We are updating the prison system. Will add all changes below!

• Peds: staff can now place NPCs around the prison with animations, so the place feels lived in
• 780 animations in /anims, sorted into 14 categories. Use /adjust to drag yourself into place and /sa to stop
• /hidenames hides names and labels for clean screenshots and clips
• Restarts now give a countdown and kick everyone cleanly
• Downed players stay where they fell instead of sliding around the floor
• Name changes keep everything: cash, cell, outfit and stats all stay with the character

First time joining since the update? You'll download the new outfits when you connect. It takes a little longer than usual the first time, then it's done.

The facility

• Cell doors are controlled from the officers' panel. Inmates can't open their own cells.

• Solitary (the SHU): timed placements, with a discipline record that follows you

• Permanent inmate numbers, shown under your name in orange. CO badge numbers show in blue

• The MDC: officers can pull up any inmate's file, with charges, sentence, where they're from and their full record

The new wardrobe

• 77 high-quality inmate outfits in county oranges, whites and blues: jumpsuits, vests, tees, shirtless, tattoos and more

• Lots of different faces, builds and hairstyles, so the yard doesn't look like a room full of clones

• CARSON COUNTY printed on the back of the jumpsuits

• Four Carson County Corrections uniforms for officers (tan deputy, black duty, white tee with belt, stab vest), picked on duty with /dutyskin

• Change outfits any time from your character page on the website, with a picture of every outfit

Injuries and the infirmary

• Get stabbed and you bleed out, with blood on the floor that anyone can /clean

• COs treat the wounded with the /body panel: stop the bleed, then help them up

• Infirmary beds with real recovery time. /bell for a CO when you're ready to go back

• Logging out while down or dead no longer skips the infirmary

• Downed players stay where they fell instead of sliding around

Work and pay


• Work details run by COs: mining, weeding, cleaning, laundry and kitchen prep

• Weeds regrow every few days, so the yard always needs work

• Paid for time actually worked, straight to your cash, plus bonuses from COs

Life inside

• Commissary with clerks behind the counter: cigarettes, snacks and music tapes for your Walkman

• Cell furniture: decorate your bunk with cups, radios, TVs, pillows and more

• Crafting and cooking: a risky 60-second animation. Get hit or move and it's ruined, and COs nearby get a hint, so have someone keep lookout

• Sleep on your bunk to restore energy

• Gym with a face-on camera while you train

• Card tables: /21 blackjack and /poker Texas Hold'em with real cards on screen

• Basketball that everyone can actually see

For officers

• A proper off-duty life: staff bar (/bar), the gym, your bunk and your own clothes

• /cuff, /escort (walks a cuffed inmate with you, through doors too) and /process to take someone from holding to their cell

• Work details: /startjob, /assignjob, /jobbonus, /endjob

• Give commissary to inmates with /givecom

• Evidence locker for confiscated items

Animations and roleplay tools
